งานพิธีสมโภชน์หลวงปุ่ทวดองค์ที่ใหญ่และสูงที่สุดในประเทศไทย

อ.เขียวท่าพระเจ้าพิธีงานสมโภชน์หลวงปู่ทวดปางธุดงค์วัตรองค์ที่ใหญ่และสูงที่สุดในประเทศไทย

       เมื่อวันที่ 3มีนาคม พ.ศ. 2557ที่ผ่านมาพระใบฏีกาเทียนชัย สุภัทโท(เจ้าอาวาสวัดแม่ตะไคร้) ต.ทาเหนือ อ.แม่ออน จ.เชียงใหม่ ได้จัดงานพิธีสมโภชน์องค์หลวงปู่ทวดองค์ที่ใหญ่และสูงที่สุดในประเทศไทยโดยหล่อด้วยทองเหลืองทั้งองค์น้ำหนักรวม80ตันมีความสูงรวม49 เมตรหรือเทียบเท่ากับความสูงของตึกราว15ชั้นใช้งบประมาณการก่อสร้างไปทั้งสิ้นถึงปัจจุบันราว50ล้านบาท

     พระใบฎีกาเทียนชัย กล่าวว่า ทางวัดได้เริ่มโครงการสร้างหลวงปู่ทวดประทับยืนปางธุดงค์วัตรองค์นี้ตั้งแต่ราวปี พ.ศ.2553 โดยพระเทพโกศลเจ้าคณะจังหวัดเชียงใหม่เป็นผู้อนุญาตให้จัดสร้างขึ้นโดยใช้ชื่อว่า”อุทยานหลวงปู่ทวดเฉลิมพระเกียรติ” ครั้นองค์หลวงปู่ทวดสร้างเสร็จเรียบร้อยทางวัดแม่ตะไคร้จึงได้จัดงานพิธีสมโภชน์องค์หลวงปู่ทวดเพื่อเป็นการเฉลิมฉลองขึ้นเพื่อให้สาธุชนทั่วไปที่ได้ร่วมบุญในการก่อสร้างได้เข้ามาร่วมยินดีและสักการะกราบไหว้ขอพรเพื่อความเป็นสิริมงคล และหลังจากนี้ต่อไปทางวัดก็คงจะต้องบอกบุญผู้ที่มีจิตศรัทธาบริจาคปัจจัยการก่อสร้างในส่วนของฐานซึ่งเวลานี้มีเพียงโครงสร้างยังคงจะต้องหารวบรวมปัจจัยอีกราว15ล้านบาทเพื่อให้ส่วนฐานสำเร็จลุล่วงต่อไปตามโครงการอุทยานหลวงปุ่ทวดที่ทางวัดได้จัดจัดทำขึ้น
